In 2019, Carrollton City Schools opened the Pope McGinnis Student Activity Center. The center serves as an indoor multi-use facility for students at Carrollton City Schools. The facilities provides unique classroom spaces for innovative opportunities and serves the needs of all activities on the district's campus. Additionally, the facility is utilized for many community and public events.
The construction of the Pope-McGinnis Student Activity Center is a public-private partnership through SPLOST funding and private donations.
